Hello, I'm Emily and I've been working as a beauty therapist for over 19 years.

I have worked full time in beautiful salons for over 11 years as a senior therapist and beauty manager, however I decided the time was right to go it alone, and thats when I opened WOODS Beauty & Skin Specialists in April 2016.

​

I'm grateful to admit that my business has been a hit from the start! I love every aspect of the beauty business and it's great to be able to offer a private spacious treatment room for my clients within a log cabin in my garden.

 

My clients are at the heart of my business and I do my upmost to achieve the results they desire, whilst ensuring they receive a professional, tailored experience during every visit.

 

I am a Silver Award winner for Beauty Therapist of the year in 2022, and I won a Bronze Award for Small Business of the Year in 2022. I hold a full Level 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy, qualifying in 2005 after studying for 2 years. I'm also Level 4 qualified in microneedling & have my Level 4 in advanced blemish removal.

 

I've gained various qualifications over the years and have worked with some amazing brands; some of which include Clarins, ESPA, Elemis, Thalgo Crystal Clear and more. I've also worked with many different advanced facial machines such as Caci, Beauty Tox (oxygen), Crystal Clear, Microdermabrasion & Laser Hair Removal to name a few.

My passion has always been Skin; I find it fascinating and love achieving incredible results using advanced facial techniques alongside all the knowledge I have gained through experience and study over my career.

I tailor all my treatments to your specific needs or concerns, so although I offer a treatment guide, I'm more than happy to build a facial that is personal to you and what your skin needs at no extra cost - this can all be discussed on your initial consultation! I hope to meet you soon...
